Daft Punk Release New “Human After All” Video — Five Years After Their Split

The Daft Punk Human After All video 2026 is here. On February 22, exactly five years after Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo announced the end of Daft Punk, the duo released a new official music video for Human After All. The Daft Punk Human After All video 2026 repurposes footage from their 2006 film Electroma, edited by longtime creative director Cédric Hervet.


About the Daft Punk Human After All Video 2026

Originally released in October 2005 as the third single from the album Human After All, the track now has a newly commissioned visual built from Electroma footage. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2006 and follows two robot characters travelling through Southern California.

Continued Activity Five Years After the Split

Although Daft Punk officially split in 2021, the new video is part of a continued release of archival and collaborative content. Earlier, the duo launched a “first of its kind” collaboration with Fortnite, introducing an immersive in-game experience centered around their music and visual identity.

Thomas Bangalter’s Return to DJing

In October 2025, Thomas Bangalter performed his first DJ set in 16 years at a Because Music showcase at the Pompidou Centre in Paris. The event also featured Fred again.., Erol Alkan, and Ed Banger Records founder Pedro Winter. He later joined Fred again.. on stage at Alexandra Palace in London for the final USB002 show.

A Legacy That Continues

The Daft Punk Human After All video 2026 release demonstrates that the duo’s cultural presence remains very much alive, even five years after their official split.
