Halloween in Imola looked a little different this year. Monsterland returned to the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari for its 16th edition, turning the famous racetrack into a world of its own for one night. Some 40,000 people came through the gates, spread across 13 stages of music, costumes and full-scale production.
Organised by Unconventional Events, the 2026 edition marked another landmark year for the festival and for the wider Italian scene. Here is a look at the people, moments and madness that made it one to remember.
13 Stages, One Halloween World
Monsterland has never been just a party with a dress code. The festival builds its own universe every year, and 2026 leaned into it harder than ever, with larger-than-life stage designs, giant sculptures and lighting rigs that turned each area into a different corner of the same nightmare.

Costumes, Creatures and Roaming Performers
The crowd did as much to set the scene as the stages did. Elaborate costumes were everywhere, and roaming performers moved through the site with flares, puppets and creature suits, blurring the line between the audience and the show.

Packed Dancefloors Until Late
Inside the tents, the energy rarely dipped. Beams cut through the smoke over packed dancefloors as DJs played to wall-to-wall crowds, keeping the 13 stages busy from the first set to the last.
