The Dom Dolla Hï Ibiza residency has built its name on stacked Friday lineups, but the night of July 10 went somewhere almost nobody predicted. Midway through a room that was already running hot, Solomun walked out to join Dom Dolla and Skepta behind the decks, and the three of them reportedly aired an unreleased collaboration not once but twice. Clips from the booth spread across social media within hours, and the obvious question followed close behind: is an official release actually on the way?

Inside the Dom Dolla Hï Ibiza night

Dom Dolla holds down Fridays at Hï Ibiza across the 2026 season, running from early June through the end of August, and the Australian has used the residency to pull in guests from every corner of the dance spectrum. July 10 paired him with Skepta in the Theatre, the club’s main room, with Delilah and Tyson O’Brien also on the bill. On paper it was already a heavyweight night. What pushed it into talking point territory was the unannounced third name who joined them once the room was full.

Skepta’s house turn

Skepta arriving at Hï Ibiza is part of a bigger shift. The London artist launched his house focused brand Más Tiempo and brought it to the island for a 2026 residency, using it as a platform to explore contemporary house rather than the grime that made his name. Sharing a booth with Dom Dolla put that reinvention in front of one of the largest house crowds on the island, and the reaction in the room suggested the crossover is connecting.

Solomun’s surprise walk on

Solomun was the twist. His own Ibiza home is Solomun +1 at Pacha on Sundays, so seeing him step into a Friday at Hï was already out of the ordinary. According to the footage circulating from the night, he appeared without warning, embraced Dom Dolla and Skepta, and settled in for a stretch that had the front rows filming rather than dancing. Solomun has been a constant presence across the island this summer, including a recent Pacha set alongside Skrillex that produced their track Rumpta, so another marquee room fit the pattern even if the timing caught fans off guard.

Is a Dom Dolla, Skepta and Solomun collab on the way?

Here is where it pays to slow down. The detail driving the excitement is that the trio reportedly played an unreleased record twice during the set. Repeated plays of an unheard track often signal that an artist is road testing a finished or near finished production, and doing it in a room this size tends to read as intentional. Dom Dolla and Solomun also have history as a pairing, having shared back to back sets before, which makes a studio link between them easy to imagine.

Even so, none of the three has confirmed anything. No title has surfaced, no label has spoken, and no release date exists. For now the story sits firmly in rumor territory, powered by phone footage and speculation rather than an announcement. If a record does arrive, the mix of Dom Dolla’s festival sized hooks, Skepta’s vocal presence and Solomun’s melodic instincts would be a genuinely unusual meeting of three very different worlds.

Why the moment mattered

Nights like this are a reminder of why the Ibiza club season still holds the scene’s attention. The residency model lets a headline act invite friends and peers without warning, and the payoff is exactly the kind of unscripted moment that a festival slot rarely allows. Whether or not the collaboration ever reaches streaming, the sight of three artists from separate corners of dance music sharing a single booth is the sort of story the island trades on. We will update this piece if Dom Dolla, Skepta or Solomun confirms the track.
