The ADE 2026 programme is now complete. Amsterdam Dance Event confirmed on 6 October that its 30th edition, running from 21 to 25 October, will bring more than 3,600 artists, over 1,300 events and upwards of 300 venues to the Dutch capital, with Jean-Michel Jarre as guest of honour and a final wave of names that includes Martin Garrix, Pete Tong and Mau P.

What the final ADE 2026 programme adds

The last announcement fills out the club and concert side of the festival. ADE’s own list of the final wave includes Amelie Lens, Armand Van Helden, Boys Noize, Charlotte Adigéry, KI/KI, Jamie Jones, Job Jobse, Len Faki, Martin Garrix, Mau P, Marlon Hoffstadt, Pete Tong, SHERELLE and Speedy J. We Rave You, which reported the same news the same day, also names Hannah Laing, DJ Tennis, Gerd Janson, Dax J and Djrum among the additions.

Neither source says what Garrix will play or where, so details on his appearance remain unconfirmed. Event counts also differ slightly across ADE channels: the 6 October news item says 1,300+, while a tile on the festival homepage still reads 1,200+. We have used the newer figure.

Why the 30th edition matters

ADE was founded in 1996 and has grown from a small trade gathering into the main yearly meeting point for electronic music professionals, with a club programme running alongside the conference. This year’s branding, 30 YEARS ADE, leans on the idea that the scene is shaped by many people and keeps moving. ADE’s own page puts it as “Sounds shaped by many, always moving forward.”

The anniversary is marked by a 30 event Icon Series, according to We Rave You, spread across the festival, ADE Pro, arts and culture and partner tracks. Items listed by ADE include an opening concert with KYBBA and Metropole Orkest, Jean-Michel Jarre at AFAS Live, Speedy J presenting STOOR Live, a Dave Clarke programme looking back at 30 years of ADE, 10 Years of STMPD RCRDS, and Skepta presenting Mas Tiempo. KI/KI plays a five hour set at Ziggo Dome, and the AMF night at Johan Cruijf Arena features Afrojack, Amelie Lens, Armin van Buuren, ARTBAT and David Guetta, among others.

Jean-Michel Jarre and the culture programme

Jarre is the anniversary’s guest of honour. He plays AFAS Live, gives a keynote interview at ADE Pro and joins a panel on artists and technology with Lady Starlight, JakoJako and Armin van Buuren. We Rave You says the AFAS Live show marks 50 years of Oxygene, a detail that does not appear on the ADE pages we checked, so treat it as reported rather than confirmed by the organiser.

Beyond the clubs, the arts and culture strand spreads into museums and venues around the city, including a Wereldmuseum programme titled DISCO I’m coming out, an audiovisual dome concert by Colin Benders and Othernode at Fabrique des Lumières, and Boris Acket’s EINDER installation with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra at Centrale Markthal.

ADE Pro: AI, independence and the business of dance music

The conference side, which we covered when the ADE Pro line up first expanded in August, is now fully scheduled. AI is the loudest theme, with sessions involving Suno, NVIDIA and Google DeepMind, a platforms roundtable with Deezer CEO Alexis Lanternier, and an artists on AI roundtable featuring Mathame, BT, Portrait XO and Dave Clarke. Reinier Zonneveld is also scheduled to speak on the subject.

Independence and the artist economy get their own slots. Mau P appears in a talk on independent powerhouses with Aloki Batra of The Pacha Group, Afrojack joins a mental wellbeing session with MIND Us, and Sam Feldt and Tinie Tempah discuss artists as investors. The conference also introduces a global Nighttime Culture Index with VibeLab, covering Amsterdam, Lagos, New York, São Paulo, Seoul and Sydney, and a Crack Magazine print edition included with the ADE Pro Pass.

What happens next

ADE says ticket prices rise on Thursday 8 October, and the ADE Pro Pass covers all five days of the conference, networking and festival access, with limited capacity at high demand venues. Prices were not listed in the sources we reviewed. Full details are on the official ADE website.

For a festival that started with a few hundred delegates, a 3,600 artist programme is the clearest measure of how far the event has travelled. The next two weeks will show whether the Icon Series and the AI debates deliver as much as the line up promises.
