Halloween 2026 falls on a Saturday, and the electronic music calendar is treating it like a long weekend. From a Formula 1 circuit in northern Italy to a 500 capacity club in East Williamsburg, promoters are building horror sets, booking heavyweight headliners and, in a couple of cases, taking phones off the dancefloor entirely. These are the Halloween 2026 events worth planning around, with dates, venues and lineups checked against official listings.

Monsterland Halloween Festival, Imola

The 16th edition of Monsterland takes over the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola on Saturday 31 October, the circuit that hosted Formula 1’s San Marino Grand Prix from 1981 to 2006. Billed by its organisers as Europe’s biggest Halloween festival, Monsterland moved to the track in 2025 after years in Ferrara, and this year it is expecting 55,000 people across 13 themed stages, running from 16:00 to 05:00.

The lineup splits neatly by stage. The Horror Warehouse belongs to Italian rap, with Salmo, Guè, Kid Yugi, Noyz Narcos and Artie 5ive. Witch Forest is the house and techno room, led by Loco Dice, Marco Carola and Paco Osuna. Galactica goes harder with Fantasm, Luca Agnelli, Paolo Ferrara, Gianni Di Bernardo and Stephan Krus, while a wrestling ring and a freestyle motocross area keep the paddock busy between sets.

Refuge presents PURGATORY, Brooklyn

Refuge opened in September 2025 at 366 Ten Eyck Street in East Williamsburg and has built its name on sound: a 500 capacity room, no VIP sections or bottle service, and a custom four point REX analogue system designed by cofounder Craig “Shorty” Bernabeu together with Al Fierstein. For Halloween it goes long. PURGATORY runs six parties across four days, from Thursday 29 October to Sunday 1 November, using both the main room and the courtyard.

Thursday night opens with salute B2B Stacey Pullen. Friday brings Jayda G and Suze Ijó, plus Soul Clap alongside DJ E-Cology, which the club bills as the final time Eli Goldstein and Charles Levine will play together after ending their 25 year run as a duo. Halloween itself starts with a daytime session from resident Victor Calderone and Anthony Middleton before Nicole Moudaber and Avision take the night. Mira handles Sunday sunrise, and Serge Devant and Vanjee close the marathon, with Tony Humphries also listed for the final session.

elrow Horroween Festival, London

After a two year hiatus, elrow brings Horroween back to Drumsheds on Saturday 31 October for its fourth London edition. It runs as a day party from 13:00 to 22:30 across three rooms, with the brand’s usual theatre, roaming performers and oversized installations built around classic horror stories.

Room X carries the big names: MK, Alan Fitzpatrick, Franky Wah, Arielle Free, Wade and Oden & Fatzo live. Room Y is built on Face 2 Face pairings, including Danny Howard with AAT, LB aka LABAT with Diffrent, Fish56Octagon with ASLØ, Sarah Story with Emma B and Funk Cartel with Tre Reynolds. Room Z hands the controls to The Disco Express, with Bustin’ Loose B2B Magnolia and a DJ set from Ayce & Spirit of House.

Appetite Halloween, London

Appetite’s annual Halloween party moves to Ironworks on Thames Wharf this year, running from 12:00 to 22:00 on Saturday 31 October with LWE. Groove Armada headline, joined by Sidney Charles, Egyptian Lover, Elliot Schooling & Liam Palmer, RTK Tarantino and Flora Tha Explora, with Lewis Carroll playing B2B with a partner still to be revealed. Fancy dress is taken seriously here: past editions turned away anyone who made zero effort at the door. The event has already sold out, so resale is the only way in.

Sankeys Halloween, Manchester

Sankeys is back on a permanent footing in Manchester for the first time since it lost its Ancoats home in 2017. The new club on Sidney Street holds 500 people, came out of a summer refit with new air conditioning, a small Room 2 and the return of its LED visual matrix, and keeps a strict no VIP and no phones policy, part of a wider move toward phone free dancefloors across UK clubs.

The Halloween edition runs from 23:00 to 04:00 on Saturday 31 October, with Miguel Campbell headlining alongside Pirate Copy and OD Muzique.

Picking your Halloween weekend

If scale is the point, Monsterland and Escape are the full festival productions on the list, and Dream Nation is the pick for hard music and bass. London has the most options in one city, from elrow’s daytime show at Drumsheds to a late night at Ministry of Sound. For a smaller room with serious sound, Refuge and Sankeys are where Halloween 2026 will feel most like a proper club night. Appetite is already sold out, so lock in tickets before you plan the costume.
