Swedish DJ Fredrik Baigi has sold a signed copy of Avicii’s Levels on vinyl for $11,000. More than just a collector’s item, this particular record was signed by Tim Bergling himself after his final show in Sweden, making it one of the rarest pieces of Avicii memorabilia in existence.

Signed at Avicii’s Last Swedish Show

The story of the record goes back to August 2016 at Big Slap Festival in Malmö. Baigi performed as the warm-up act for Avicii that night and had the chance to meet him backstage. It was there that he had the vinyl signed, just after what would be Avicii’s last performance in his home country.

Years of Private Bidding

For years, the record remained in Baigi’s possession, carefully kept safe across the ocean as a reminder of the song that changed electronic music forever. After a long period of private bidding with a dedicated collector from New York, the deal was finalized this summer. The timing gave the moment even more meaning, coming during the week of what would have been Avicii’s 36th birthday, while Swedish House Mafia were taking over New York City.

From Sale to Celebration

What began as a vinyl transaction evolved into something much larger. The exchange turned into a weekend of connection and celebration, as strangers who shared a love for Avicii’s music ended up together at both Swedish House Mafia shows in New York. It showed how his legacy continues to unite people, even years after his passing.

Carrying on Avicii’s Legacy

Now resting in a personal collection in New York City, the vinyl will continue to carry Avicii’s legacy forward. For fans around the world, Levels is more than just a track, it is the anthem that defined an era, opened doors for electronic music on a global scale, and still resonates at festivals and dancefloors today. Avicii’s work represents not only innovation but also the emotional bond that EDM fans share across generations.
