After a four-year hiatus, Berlin’s renowned Berghain club has revived its in-house label, Ostgut Ton, with the release of a new compilation titled Klubnacht 01. This 18-track collection, launched on May 30, 2025, commemorates the label’s 20th anniversary and features a diverse array of artists, including Efdemin, Fadi Mohem, Steffi, Verraco, GiGi FM, Quelza, and more.

A Legacy in House and Techno

Established in 2005, Ostgut Ton has been a significant force in the house and techno scenes, previously releasing works from notable artists such as Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, and Luke Slater. The label’s last release before this hiatus was the 2021 compilation Fünfzehn + 1. Following that, Berghain’s agency, Ostgut Booking, ceased operations in 2022.

Klubnacht 01 showcases a blend of techno and house tracks, reflecting the dual nature of Berghain’s main floor and the Panorama Bar. The compilation includes contributions from both established and emerging artists, such as JakoJako, Virginia, Cinthie, Lydia Eisenblätter, Wallace, LADYMONIX, Jinjé featuring Yolanda Wyns, Gallegos, Snecker, and Hard Ton.

Limited Edition Physical Release

In addition to the digital release, a limited edition physical package of Klubnacht 01 is available, featuring an A1 poster and a laser-engraved stainless steel keyring, with shipping commencing on June 6, 2025.

A New Chapter for Ostgut Ton

This relaunch signifies a renewed commitment from Ostgut Ton to contribute to the electronic music landscape, blending the label’s rich history with fresh talent and sounds.
