For the first time, Sónar will take place entirely in a single venue, Fira Gran Via. The festival has announced the first 31 names for its 33rd edition, which will run from 18 to 20 June 2026, bringing together established artists, cult figures and emerging voices from contemporary electronic culture.
For the 2026 edition, Sónar reveals around 30% of a programme that will include more than 100 shows. Remaining true to its mission over more than three decades, the festival will continue to highlight both local and international talent while serving as a platform for electronic and digital culture.
The programme includes new shows by Kelis, Skepta, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Modeselektor, Cabaret Voltaire, Nia Archives, Julianna Barwick & Mary Lattimore, WhoMadeWho, Ascendant Vierge and 30drop. Confirmed DJ sets include Chris Stussy, Sammy Virji, DJ Gigola, Kettama, Joy Orbison, Boys Noize, Ogazón, ISA, Clementaum b2b LAZA, Alba Franch and others soon to be announced.
Sónar+D will remain in Barcelona and will expand its activity within the musical programme at Fira Gran Via, presenting installations, digital works and interactive projects. Details of the discourse and networking programme, set in a city-centre venue, will follow.
This first announcement already outlines the artistic direction of the new edition, shaped by multiple genres, languages, disciplines and creative communities. In June, in Barcelona, artists from across the electronic spectrum will converge to offer a snapshot of contemporary production, from the avant-garde to widely recognised club sounds.
