Soundcloud Will Pay Artists 100% of Their Royalties

SoundCloud has introduced a new subscription plan designed to combine distribution, fan support and merchandise tools in one place. Officially launched on Thursday, 30 October, the All In One plan gives artists complete control over how they release and monetise their music across platforms.

Artists Keep All Royalties

Under the new plan, artists will receive one hundred percent of the royalties from tracks shared on SoundCloud and from releases distributed to other streaming services through SoundCloud distribution. This includes Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok and YouTube Music.

Direct Support from Fans

SoundCloud has also added a Support button that allows listeners to send money directly to artists. The company confirmed that it will not take a cut from these contributions, giving creators an additional revenue stream directly from their fanbase.

Vinyl and Merch Built Into the Platform

The subscription includes tools for on demand vinyl pressing and integrated merchandise sales. This allows artists to handle digital releases, physical releases and branded products through a single platform. The new features will automatically apply to the existing three dollar and twenty five cent Artist plan and the eight dollar and twenty five cent Artist Pro plan.

SoundCloud’s Message to Creators

SoundCloud CEO Eliah Seton said the new initiative strengthens the company’s commitment to supporting artists. He explained that the All In One model offers distribution without detours, community without barriers and monetisation without compromise. Seton added that the platform aims to give artists a clear and direct way to grow their careers and receive support from their listeners.
