The Warehouse Project (WHP), one of the UK’s most influential clubbing institutions, has announced a bold change for its upcoming WHP25 season: a “no phones” policy on the dancefloor. Starting with the season opener in September, the policy will be enforced at all Concourse-only shows held at Depot Mayfield in Manchester.

“Less Filming, More Feeling”

WHP hopes the new rule will encourage ravers to be more present during the experience. “We want to take the clubbing experience back to its core,” said WHP founder Sam Kandel. “Being in a room with like-minded people feeling connected through music.” Instead of endless phone footage, WHP will provide attendees with high-quality photo and video content from each night to remember and share.

WHP25 Season Highlights

The season kicks off with Annie Mac’s Before Midnight party, bringing an early-hours celebration to Depot Mayfield. Other standout events include FISHER’s curated night on September 20, Dom Dolla on October 10, and Confidence Man on October 24.

On October 18, Overmono will present a massive lineup featuring Joy Orbison, Helena Hauff, Skee Mask, Blawan, Mechatok, and the WHP debut of ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U. Halloween night will be led by Sports Banger, and on November 1, Marlon Hoffstadt (aka Daddy Trance) will headline what WHP is calling its “Party of the Year.”

Venue Upgrades Announced

In addition to the no phones initiative, The Warehouse Project has revealed a series of upgrades at Depot Mayfield. These include improved toilet facilities and enhanced viewing platforms for VIP ticket holders, part of an ongoing effort to elevate the overall experience for partygoers.
